Boruto Creator Confirmed A Big News Regarding The Anime

Boruto: Naruto Next Generation is a series that has a confused a lot of fans. The manga began in 2016, and received an anime adaptation in 2017. However, there are lots of differences between the two. For starters, the anime began from the Academy days of Boruto and his class, while Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga began right from where the Chunin Exams begin.

This raised a lot of questions among the fans. Some asked why the anime did this. Others asked if we were going to see different storylines in both the anime, and the manga, and then there were questions about what is ‘Canon’, and what isn’t.

The creator for Boruto, Ikemoto has answered all our questions, and even though he did, I don’t think many know.l about it. So I decided to explain it all. First of all, the anime began from the Academy for two reasons. The first was to give a whole background to the new characters, so that we wouldn’t feel out of place when seeing them for the first time. The second reason was that Boruto anime was just a couple of chapters away from the manga, and would’ve caught up quickly. So in order to avoid that, the anime decided to start off at the Academy.

Then comes the question of the storylines, and the answer to that is they’re going to be the same. Both Boruto manga, and the anime are the same thing. The anime just gave us a better background of each character. Once we reach the Chunin Exams period, everything is going to be adapted right out of the manga. We probably just have one arc in between until then, and after that, the Chunin Exams will finally begin followed by the Mujina Bandits arc. So from there onward, the story is going to the same. Sure, there will be a couple of fillers along the way, but most of it is going to be manga content.

Now the biggest question, is what we’ve seen so far ‘Canon’? The answer is yes. Every arc we’ve seen up until now is completely canon. Ikemoto has April a Novel for Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, and it covers the days of the Ninja at the Academy. This means all the Academy action is finally Canon. That’s not all. All the characters that we’ve seen in the Academy are also Canon. Ikemoto recently drew a picture of the Ninja graduating, and as you can see there are those who appeared just in the anime as well. So, that’s all your big questions answered, and it is now confirmed that the anime is 100% Canon material.
