Why Kagura Was Disturbed After Fighting Boruto

As soon as Kagura was introduced into the series he has been a mystery almost as if he has been hiding something. Although we don’t know what that is yet, Kagura is in line to be the next member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen to hold Chojuro’s sword. Following that, he is up for the position of the Seventh Mizukage after Chojuro retires. Anyhow, today we are going to be discussing why Kagura was disturbed after fighting Boruto.

To begin with in episode 26 of Boruto Naruto Next Generations, Boruto is obsessed with the Kenjutsu practicing at the Hidden Mist Academy. Chojuro asks Boruto if he wants to try it out and Boruto accepts. Chojuro appoints Kagura to be his partner and they both go on to the water and begin their sparring match.
However once Boruto attacks, Kagura easily counters. But after Kagura counters, his face is strongly scared and disturbed as he has struck his wooden sword like he had the intent to kill. This look on Kagura’s face has us hinting at one major possibility to what he was thinking.
We think it was because he doesn’t want to go back to the era of the bloody mist, and he doesn’t want to be like his grandfather who accepted murdering. Even though he is becoming a seven ninja swordsmen he doesn’t want that blood lust that his ancestors had by killing off other members of the academy just to graduate.
